Dameo Marude is an elementary school student who is not good at anything. Dameo's only friend is a robot called Borot that was built by his father, an inventor.
Unlike other robots, Borot does not have any special power or weapon. The only thing that he is good at is housework such as cleaning, laundry, and cooking. He is also able to communicate with Dameo's long dead mother, a ghost. Although Dameo and Borot try hard to do their best, they always end up with troubles. Additionally, Dameo's father's useless inventions, and people around Dameo and Borot, who are beyond the common sense, cause other troubles. That's why the town is always busy with some kinds of incidents.
No matter how often Dameo and Borot fail, and being fooled by people, they are always cheerful.
