Go has just been a board game for grandpas for 12-year-old Hikaru until he meets Sai, the spirit of a Go genius from the ancient Heian period. Moved by Sai's tragic past and his undying passion for Go, Hikaru ends up getting initiated into the world of Go. Hikaru quickly develops passion for the game when he meets a Go prodigy of his own age, Akira. Shocked but also inspired by Akira's skillful moves, Hikaru decides to take his Go to a whole new level. Thus begins Sai and Hikaru's pursuit for a “divine move”!
